To all my genuine prayer partners & intercessors : I thought life after 60 was about slowing down but the past 7days seems to challenge my thinking process. I thought my influence for peace and cohesion in Kenya and Eastern Africa which earned me DAIR award was enough but God has increased and expanded my influence for peace to the Horn of Africa beyond what I ever thought or imagined. I’ve hosted Mikael Torstensson – Special Envoy for European Union for 7days in his first ever visit to Kenya. We have been hosted by Ambassador Dr. Mohamed A. Mohamound – Somaliland Representative to the Republic of Kenya, together with Sharmarke Ahmed Muhumed – Deputy head of Mission. I flew to Malindi, got received by Peter Wagura & Lydia and led to serve in 5 meetings in Garsen in 24 hrs. Sunday September 24th is what has led me to appeal for prayers. Day started from my house to BTL. Then to Village market to meet with Joachim Warren-the Ambassador of Sweden to Somalia. Then to Karatina for my brother Christopher Mwangi recognition as Pastor. Then GOA Kieni west children’s Home, then to visit my parents in Cheru Village. Back to BTL and finally to my Thome home in Nairobi. So what is my prayer request :STEWARDING MY EVER GROWING INFLUENCE in the 7 mountains of culture. Africa and indeed the world is not safe until the horn of Africa is. Bishop David Munyiri Thagana.
