Bishop David and Norbato at Schiphol Airport
I see a couple seating next to me and I just start a conversation with them. The wife says, “I bought two neck pillows. I cab only use one in this trip. Can I give you one so that nothing goes to waste?”. I gladly receive it. The husband says “I was wondering why we had to stay here in Amsterdam .His name is Norbarto from Peru coming from running Berlin Marathon. So I engage him on coming to Kenya to run with GOA Sports guys and he is very excited. He is excited that now he will come to Kenya through this divine connection.
Nothing goes to waste. In my devotion today God said he is breaking me like he did with the barely loaves and fish. Jesus broke the bread. Out of the broken loaves of bread he multiplied the blessings so thousands would be nourished. That is what God is doing with me in this trip. Yes it hurts to be broken. But sometimes that’s part of God’s plan, especially if he wants to feed others. Out of your brokenness, the blessing can be bestowed on more people than you ever dreamed possible-and you can be certain nothing will be wasted. God will gather up and use all the hurt; not a bit of it will be discarded or cast aside. That is what God is doing with me in this trip and I’m ready.
