Mental health cannot be underestimated, Bishop David Thagana

Simon Ndirangu holding a mental awareness session with members of  Community in Nairobi

10th October  is the world Mental Health Day 2022. My host family and I spent our morning at Chick Fil-A support center. While 1 out of 8 people are considered Mentally ill, GOA Kenya is committed to make mental health and well-being for all a global priority. We have included Simon Ndirangu on our GOA International Team to create awareness of mental health in GOA and mobilize support for the victims of this global pandemic. To mark this day please consider supporting Simon Ndirangu and his mental illness initiatives.

  1. Helping someone get self awareness leads to self determination and a positive self esteem. This is the best way to uplift livelihoods. We must be conscious of the huge gap amongst our society on mental health.
